MNHS - Poblacion Copped Overall 2nd Place in STEP - DSDC

Once again our school- Mariveles National High School – Poblacion proved their excellency after bagging awards from Student Technologists and Entrepreneurs of the Philippine – Division Skills Development and Competition in Pablo Roman National High School, Pilar, Bataan last October 9-10 in which we are entitled 2nd Place Overall.

Our school got 20 titles in the said competition. Cesar Refraction (Hair Trimming with Facial Day Make-Up) and Andrian Flores (Bookkeeping using MS Excel Program) won first place the guidance of Mrs. Edith Rivera and Mrs. Solita Aporto respectively.

The contestant in the Parliamentary Procedure; Marianne Serrano, Dianne April Pangilinan, Angela Yanica Marzo, Berna Thea Cruz, Cedric Celeste, Mariah Shane Osalvo, Anna Carmela Corona, Erveen Ian de Jesus, Janella Mhariz Villones, Marice Aňez, and Jerome Canare, instructed by Mrs. Jocelyn Pascual; Lovely Joy Peligrino (Electronic Poster Making) trained by Mr. Angelo Basilio; Michael Moncada (Construction of Heat Exhanger) – Mr. Elmer Baracao; Mark Mendoza (Auto-Body Painting) – Mr. Carlos Magday; Merlita Menil (Classy Apron Making) – Mrs. Liwayway Amansec; and Johnson Magdaong (Fruit and Vegetable Carving) – Mrs. Jaqcueline Limua won the second place.

Alpha Hessa Bierneza, Lacer Esteban, Juancho Amon, Jeruz Roberts and Kevin Paolo Robles showed their potential after gaining the third place in Business Planning with the guidance of Mrs. Carmencita Bautista and Mrs Iris Catalan. Marcelo Legaspi (Debut Cake Decorating) – Mrs. Marie Lozano and Kings Lee Magday (Project Proposal Making for Animal Production) – Mr. Carlos Magday also got the third place.
